After using some refinement criteria, 84 articles were analyzed.

Originality / Relevance: Even though the literature on intention has been investigated for many years, the particular dynamics of the Sharing Economy phenomenon offers new challenges and research opportunities that bring the need to better understand the relationship between the subjects. That said, this work presents an analysis of this relationship.

Main results: The results reveal that interest in the subjects is recent, which explains the fact that there is no prominent journal or author on the subjects. Despite this, one of the main topics researched was the factors that affect, influence, impact, explain or predict intention. Still, it is seen that most of the studies tend to use the same approaches, whether they are the research of carpool services and shared accommodation, the survey method and the use of TPB and TRA theories, which provides opportunities for research.

Contributions: It is considered as main contributions the understanding of the way the themes have been studied over time, and some theoretical research gaps can be observed. In addition to the understanding of the themes, it can serve as a subsidy in strategic decision-making in the field.
}, number={1}, journal={Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategies}, author={Pavanelo Pivetta, Natália and Scherer, Flavia Luciane and de Souza Soares, Soraya}, year={2022}, month={Aug.}, pages={e0639} }
